The springs of Tehuacán

Tehuacán sits in a high desert valley in Puebla, ringed by volcanic sierras. Its springs have been prized since long before the first bottle was filled in 1928.

The town built its name on water — a place people travelled to for the taste of the spring itself.

Volcanic rock

Effervescence made underground

Rain and snowmelt sink through fractured volcanic rock, gathering calcium, magnesium and bicarbonate on the way down.

Carbon dioxide from the same volcanic system dissolves into the water at depth. The sparkle is not added; it rises with the water.

Today

Crisp, clean, refined

The result is a mineral-rich sparkling water with a fine, persistent bead and a clean finish that carries food rather than competing with it.

Bottled at the source in glass, exactly as it comes out of the ground.
